Joining
  1. 1A score of 1300 or more gets you in.Sign in with X. Ethos scores your X account even if you have no Ethos profile; you need 1300 or more. Your link is live the moment you join.
  2. 2Earning pauses under the line.If your score dips below 1300 during a round, earning pauses until it recovers. Your reach points stay; your link keeps working.
Earning
  1. 3Rounds run about 30 days.Reach points come from unique clicks on your link and from quotes, replies and reposts of your original posts about Ethos. Posts, threads and clips all count; what matters is the engagement they get. Every round starts from zero.
  2. 4A click is 0.5 reach point.One per person per link per round. Bots, link previews, data-centre traffic and repeats are dropped before they count.
  3. 5Credible engagement is worth more.From people scoring 1400 or more: a quote starts at 15 reach points, a reply at 5, a repost at 1. Each is multiplied by their score (up to 3×), their reach (0.25× to 4×) and how rarely they post (up to 5×). There is no ceiling: a rare reply from a renowned account with real reach can be worth hundreds of clicks. A rare reply from a big, credible account is worth far more than a regular reply from a friend. Your own replies and one-word replies don’t count, and neither do generic ones: a reply or quote has to respond to what your post says, so “lol”, “sounds fun” or “paid?” earn nothing.
  4. 6Regulars count, a little less each time.One engagement per person per post. Across the round, a person’s best counts in full, their next half, then a quarter, so ten replies from one friend are worth less than three from three strangers. Engagement between curators counts for half, from when they join; curators engaging with each other both ways count for a tenth. Engagement from before someone joined keeps its full value.
Fair play
  1. 7Every post wears the paid partnership label.X’s Paid Partnerships Policy requires the label on sponsored posts, and that is what these are, kit or not, link or not. Turn it on in the post’s content disclosure settings, or add it afterwards from the post’s menu. Your audience knows it’s sponsored, and trusts you more for it.
  2. 8Real people only.Bursts of clicks, click farms and bought engagement are flagged and removed before payout. Gaming the campaign can also cost you on Ethos itself: negative reviews or a slash from the Ethos team.
Payouts
  1. 9Reach points freeze when the round closes.The Ethos team reviews the flags, then the results are final. The leaderboard shows reach points; what each curator earns in $WHUF stays private.
  2. 10$WHUF goes to your wallet.The first address on your Ethos profile, or any Base address you set on My links. No profile? Set one there before the round closes. Beta season is a beta season: the amount per reach point is set when it closes, from what everyone earned, and becomes the baseline afterwards.; curators under 50 reach points aren’t paid.
  3. 11Posts that are clearly negative about Ethos earn nothing.Calling it a scam, telling people to stay away, or using it to harass someone. Questions, mixed takes and criticism of a feature all count as normal. A post held back goes to review, where a person can count it after all.
  4. 12Verified curators earn a fixed rate on top.They are invited by the Ethos team, carry the Ethos badge, and are paid a monthly USD rate alongside their reach points. How verification works.
Getting verified

The badge is earned in the open.

Verified curators carry the Ethos badge on the board and the Ethos tag on X, and they are paid a monthly USD rate on top of their reach points. It is not something you apply for. The team has to trust you, and the way they get to know you is the same way everyone else does: your rounds as a curator.
